A lot of health and wellness content on the internet is trying to sell you something or trying to make you feel bad about yourself. Or, it's dense and academic. This blog tries to fill a niche that I was looking for myself.
Core Constant is an outlet to write about fitness and health from a holistic lens - something that is severely lacking in the fitness space. You'll find a variety of topics distilled in an approachable way.
I've long been someone who takes refuge in physical activity and movement in general. There's nothing more satisfying to me than progressing in a workout or really learning how the body moves. It's also something I want to share with the world.
I hope to talk about this more in other posts, specifically in the journeys section of this site, but in short: fitness is a bit of a raison d'être for me.
As someone who has been coached by personal trainers in the gym, something I always found lacking was a personal connection. I never really knew what the perspective of my trainers was or what they had been through. I'd like my clients to experience something different.
Why the name?
I considered just using my actual name as the name for the blog and site. But I want the opportunity to build something bigger in the future. Whether that means having other authors and trainers, or just expanding my coaching content. So I decided on a brand name instead.
